Target Audience: Staff controlling access to, searching and loading of aircraft

Initial Training: 9 hours

Initial Training Cost: £110.00* per person on one of our scheduled courses, or £500.00** for a maximum of 12 people trained at your own location

Course Contents
Module 1 –
Part 1: General Security Awareness
Part 2: Objectives and Organisation of Aviation Security
Part 3: Principles of the Air Cargo Regime
Part 4: Responding to Suspicious Circumstances
Part 5: Reacting to Threat Warnings
Part 6:  Drivers of Vehicles

Module 2 – Access Control, Cargo Protection and Patrolling Controlled Areas

Module 3 – Searching, Checking and Controlling Access to Aircraft

Note: Access to an aircraft will be required to ensure that the full contents of Module 3 are completed satisfactorily

Module 4 – Recognition of Firearms and Explosives and Action on Discovering a Prohibited Article or Suspicious Signs

Module 5 – Methods of Concealment

Evaluation Test

Recurrent Training: Required every 2 years for 6 hours (awaiting DfT confirmation)

Recurrent Training Cost: £75.00* per person on one of our scheduled courses, or £425.00** for a maximum of 12 people trained at your own location
