Target Audience: Staff carrying out the approved screening methods, except X-ray (i.e. staff designated to hand search cargo, etc.)

Initial Training: 9 hours (1 day)

Initial Training Cost: £110.00* per person on one of our monthly scheduled courses, or £500.00** for a maximum of 12 people trained at your own location

Part 1: General Security Awareness
Part 2: Objectives and Organisation of Aviation Security
Part 3: Principles of the Air Cargo Regime
Part 4: Responding to Suspicious Circumstances
Part 5: Reacting to Threat Warnings
Part 6:  Drivers of Vehicles

Module 2 – Access Control, Cargo Protection and Patrolling Controlled Areas

Module 4 – Recognition of Firearms and Explosives and Action on Discovering a Prohibited Article or Suspicious Signs

Module 5 – Methods of Concealment

Module 6 – Methods of Making Cargo Known

Module 8 – Physical Examination Including Hand Search

Evaluation Test

Recurrent Training: Required every 2 years for 6 hours (awaiting DfT confirmation)

Recurrent Training Cost: £75.00* per person on one of our scheduled courses, or £425.00** for a maximum of 12 people trained at your own location
